Cinderford RFC under 18 girls got their National cup off to a flying start with an absolute try fest against Avonmouth Old Boys on the Dockham Road ground beating the visitors in an 11 a side game as their opponents had last minute drop outs, big credit to the girls that travelled to play the game.
Top try scorer on the day was Haidee Field with five try’s close second was Niamh Brennan with four, Mili Atkins grabbed three, Ellie Murrell and Megan Butler two a piece Megan Morgan and Fenn Wightman Smith finished it with one a piece. Niamh Brennan also converted sixteen.

The under 15’s were also in cup action and played directly after the 18’s on the main pitch and they put in a great shift against Richians with a great win.
Abbie Knight led the scores with two try’s followed by Zoe Whitehouse, Ronnie Thomas, Megan Pitt and Chloe Ervig got one try each with Ervig converting one.
The under 13’s development team put in a great display but were unable to beat their better drilled opponents, they showed great spirit and effort but unfortunately lost to Richians on the day.
