Cinderford rfc under 15s girls started their season with a new squad of players, as most of last seasons successful group have stepped up to 18s this term. And after motorway hold ups which caused a 3 & 1/2 hour trip arrived at Winscombe to play the first friendly of the season, scoring 21 points but losing the match over all to a well organised team.
But a lot of good things came out of the game with the new players getting a taste for the sport.
Try of the match came through Millie Purser with an interception in her own half to burst through and score under the sticks and with Twin sister Ruby were the outstanding players of the match with non stop tackles through out the game, but well played all the other girls great effort on your first outing.
Cinderford are still looking for players at under 13/15 & 18
