Cinderford were beaten on their travels at Redruth, but a late Harry Johnson penalty did earn them a losing bonus point.

The visitors started the match well and they took the lead after nine minutes, when scrum-half Jimmy Williams scored a try, which Reece Boughton converted.  The rest of the half was very well contested, but no further scores were forthcoming, and it remained 7-0 to Cinderford at the interval.

Redruth were soon on the attack from the re-start and Thomas Cowan-Dickie scored an unconverted try to reduce the deficit.  More pressure near their opponents try-line saw winger Luke Johnson score a try put the home team 10-7 ahead after 51 minutes of play. The game remained in the balance until flanker Jack King scored a decisive third try for the Cornishmen, which Dan Rutter converted.

Cinderford pressed hard in the closing stages and a yellow card offence saw them awarded a penalty, which Johnson landed to bring the game to a close.
