Cinderford suffered a fourth defeat in a row at Plymouth Albion as they slipped into the relegation places in National One.
Albion took the lead inside the opening 10 minutes when some clinical play around the 22 set away Craig Duncan for the opening score of the match. Cinderford grabbed back three points through Joe Winfield’s penalty, before more excellent rugby across the line from the home team saw Jesse Lowe race over the second try of the afternoon.
The second half started equally as strongly for the home team as the first with Jake Bond soon driving over after a superb maul. Tom Putt’s second conversion of the day established a 14-point lead. Albion pushed hard for the bonus point and despite some heroic defence from their opponents they eventually grabbed it deep into injury time through replacement Dan Collier.
