Cinderford Focus on Performance & Points at Hartpury
Saturday 20 December — KO 1.30pm (National 1)
With 15 games left in the season, Cinderford are looking to continue their good form and put in a solid performance against noisy neighbours, Hartpury. In a tough and tight league the Foresters aim to make it four wins from five heading into the festive break.
Said Nic Corrigan, “At training this week we held an in-depth review of the first half of the season with good analysis. From that we look forward to the 15 remaining games and have set clear expectations for all. Having a positive environment is vital to a sustained progress and even after our win last week we have identified key work-on’s, so that we deliver a strong performance at every game in the second half of the season.”
“It’s all about performance and process, then the points will come. We go to Hartpury with a strong squad that’s on form and a sharp focus on our own game.”
Minor tweaks to the side see Elliot Booley start in the front row, on rotation with Jake Caulfield. Al Bryan starts at 12 with Sam Hanks moving to the bench on rotation. The squad also names Nev Codlin who is coming back after injury, Lance Randall and Mike Uren. Having clocked up a staggering 198 games for Cinderford, no.8 George Evans is on the cusp of achieving his 200th game for the club in early January; an impressive accolade.
