In a very tight encounter, Cinderford scored 2 early tries from Will Baldwin and Jack Guy. Both tries were following some strong work by the forwards and each of the tries were finished well. Dursley replied with 2 tries of their own to draw level at 10-10.
A further try from Jack Guy, converted by Ollie Moore saw Cinderford take the lead and a fine try from Will Baldwin saw the half time score at 22-10 in Cinderfords favour.
The second half saw Dursley make several changes and their fresher legs saw them rewarded with try to reduce the deficit.
Cinderford dug deep and there were no additions to the score as this close encounter saw Cinderford emerge victorious by 22-15
Cinderford can take a huge amount of pride from this performance as with only 16 players, everyone stepped up to the plate to ensure another fine victory was secured.
Cinderford next game is a home tie against Painswick on 9/12/2012 and the returning players will have to battle hard to earn their shirts back.
