Cinderford Under 15 v Painswick Under 15
(12th Jan 2014 – The Bridge)
On a frosty morning, Cinderford welcomed Painswick to The Forest for their first game of 2014.
Cinderford played up the hill in the first half and an early try from Ethan Brooks set Cinderford up for a fine all round performance.
Tries followed at regular intervals for Cinderford from Will Baldwin (2), Jack Guy, Louis Brennan and Morgan Peates with a Jack Guy conversion meant that the half -time score was 32-0.
Painswick to their credit kept on battling in the second half and although they were unable to cross the Cinderford line, never gave up.
Cinderford scored 2 further tries in the 2nd half, one each from Jack Guy and Will Baldwin, with a Jack Guy conversion meant that the final score ended up 44-0 to Cinderford.
