The Bucks continued their winning run with a 34 points to nil victory over Westbury 2nds. The bucks produced some scintillating rugby at times running in 5 tries Tom Reynolds (2) Ashley Burris James Morse and Dan Nicholls.
The plan at the start was to utilise the Bucks pacey backs but it was hooker Ashley Burris who took first blood by powering over with the help of the rest of the forwards. This was not before the Bucks lost second row forward Chris Pritchard to what looks like a serious knee injury. The Bucks then started to move the ball and it wasn’t long before wing Tom Reynolds raced over to score in the corner. Both tries went unconverted and the Bucks led 10 nil at the break.
The second half saw the bucks dominate in every department even pushing a heavy Westbury pack back in the scrums. The Bucks fitness told and it wasn’t long before flanker James Morse went under the post to score. Further pressure saw both wings Dan Nicholls and Tom Reynolds race over to score. So three out of three so far for the Bucks but they paid a heavy price with injuries.
