Cinderford slipped back into the National One relegation zone as they were beaten by Birmingham Moseley at Billesley Common.
The opening score for the home team came when a wicked bounce evaded the visitors defence and allowed Ben Morris to grab the touchdown with Ollie Allsop converting. A missed tackle in midfield then allowed the hosts to breakthrough and winger Aquille Smith raced over for a try, again converted by Allsop. The Foresters rallied and got themselves back into it when Joe Mullis scored from a lineout catch and drive, with Joe Winfield adding the conversion to make it 14-7 at the interval.
The second half continued to be well contested but the hosts took control midway through with a brace of tries from their hooker Sam McNulty and a conversion from Allsop. With ten minutes remaining Mullis drove over the line to claim his second try, with Winfield converting, but the home team closed out the match to secure their victory.
