The Bucks completed a league and cup double, when they defeated Berry Hill Wappers to lift the FOD Combination Minor Cup at Lakers Road.
Tom Ward opened the scoring for the Bucks when he was put away down the blindside from a ruck on their opponents 22m line. The Wappers hit back when they were awarded a penalty try, which was converted to give them a 7-5 lead at the interval.
Gareth Baldwin’s charge down of an attempted clearance kick saw second-row Shane Davies to gather up the ball and go over for an unconverted try to regain the lead for the Bucks early in the second-half. Ryan Walding extended the advantage with a penalty before they made sure of their victory in the final quarter. Robson Skipsey touched down for a well taken try, before Jason Walding also went over, with his brother Ryan landing the conversion. Jason Rowles completed the scoring when he dropped a goal to complete the scoring and begin the celebrations for the Bucks.
Second-row Andrew Davies was the Man of the Match.
