Cinderford rfc girls section played some wonderful rugby at the Dockham road ground with the first game kicking off with the newly formed under 13s against a tough opposition from Drybrook captain Niamh Brennan led from the front and kept her troops working hard but were unable to beat the more experienced Drybrook side with the score finishing 13 try’s to 5 but a great all round effort by both Teams.
Also on Sunday was the big clash with the under 15s also playing their local rivals in what was can only be said a well contested game from both Teams, and with the effort and tackles made the England men could learn a thing or 2 from the girls, both games were well supported by a large crowd and on this occasion Cinderford took the spoils winning 50/0 scores coming through Elle-Jay browning 3 Megan Harris 2 Sophie Hall, Mackenna Brace and Jenna Skidmore 1 a piece Lekieshia Davies kicked 5 conversions well played to all the girls in what was a great afternoon of rugby
