The United and Stags made it a superb weekend of rugby for the club when they completed a double of Forest of Dean Combination Cups.
Cinderford United 27-5 Drybrook
The United proved to be too strong for Drybrook, outscoring their opponents by five tries to one to lift the Senior Cup. A mixture of clinical finishing and some superb defending was the key to Cinderford’s victory. After Alan Bryan’s early try, man of the match Loti Molitika touched down twice as The United held a 15-0 lead at the interval. Bryan added his second try after the break, then winger Jack Richards went over for a popular score, which Ollie Whiting converted. Drybrook did have the consolation of an unconverted try, with fifteen minutes remaining, but The United closed out the match and were able to pick up the silverware.
