Cinderford U11s played reasonably well against a strong Old Richians outfit but ended up on the losing side by 40 points to 12.
The first half was competitively fought with Cinderford holding their own and fighting back from being 21 points to 0 down, to 21 – 12 at half time. Ellis Peacey and Jack Worgan scored for Cinderford with Jack converting one.
Although the tight game of scrums and line outs was even, Old Richians were better drilled and had more technique in the loose, including a few three quarter moves! Old Richians score three unanswered tries in the second half, two of which were converted.
Worthy of a mention from Cinderfords viewpoint, Sam Carpenter at hooker and Lucas Gardner for his tackles. The team was lead well by Anthony Slattery.
