Cinderford completed their home fixtures with a game against touring side South Woodham Ferrers from Essex. The match started evenly for the first 10-15 minutes, with neither side able to breach the oppositions defence before centre Olly Moore opened the scoring for Cinderford with a try converted by Jack Guy. The home side went on to add a further three tries from Conor Gresty, Luke Marrott and Frazer Montague with a second conversion from Guy before half time.
After the break Cinderford continued where they had left off with further tries from Montague and Guy along with a further Guy conversion. South Woodham then earned a much deserved try which was converted before Marrott added his second try of the game to give the final score line of 41-7. Mention should be made of the fine performances of the scorers here but also that of flanker Morgan Peates, scrum half Niall Rosser and wing Alex Kershaw, along with the second half props Josh Haddock and Jacob Smith.
True to tradition the sides along with their coaches and parents retired to socialise at the bar, for more competition of a less physical nature, where a good time was had by all.
