The skies finally cleared for a crisp Remembrance Sunday game away at Kingswood RFC Bristol for Cinderford ladies, what should have been a home game against Dings who unfortunately had to pull out the league this rearranged fixture was going to be tough one, with the new opposition and yet another away game for the Team.

On arrival the opposition were already out on the pitch warming up with superior numbers to the traveling squad, but after the kick off and a few early nerves the Ladies got into their stride with some great counter Rucking and turnovers resulting in regular scoring opportunities which they took in their stride.

Scrum Half Lilly Walker crossed the line and led the scoring with 5 tries, captain Laura Byrne’s playing 10 showed how fluent the handling was scoring 2 tries and wing Erin Williams 1 Jolene Howard got a try for the forwards with a strong run to the line, back row Amy Thorne completed the scoring with 3 conversions.

A great all-round performance from a New squad who are growing and improving on every game and have won 3 out of 3 in their League games hopefully we will see them playing at home soon 🤞
