Cinderford RFC finally achieved a milestone – to get a Ladies team on the Beavis memorial ground for the first time in the clubs history.
With a full squad consisting of new and old players some returning to rugby for the first time after junior involvement. They took to their task with gusto and after a couple of early tries by the opposition Faringdon RFC the nerves settled and they began to play some great competitive rugby resulting in scores of their own proving worthy winners in the end Infront of a large home crowd. With the final score being 36/30 to Cinderford. Tries scored by Lilly Tippins, Jemma Harrison, Jolene Howard, Rachel Hopkins, Megan Morgan, Deanna Bishop, Amy Thorne kicking 3 conversions
A great first outing for the team
