Drybrook U15’s Girls 0 Cinderford U15’s 83
Cinderford girls travelled the short distance to the Manning’s ground to take on local rivals Drybrook. When there we encountered what can only be called a freak storm, of wind rain and snow!!! However, undaunted by the weather both teams to put on a great display of rugby. Unfortunately the home team were no match for the Cindy girls who ran out convincing winners.
Chloe Ervig continues her excellent form, leading the way with four great individual trys. Captain Francesca Clarke, Kallie Hancock,Alana Annis and Laini Vick also added two tries each and Abbie Knight finished with a try. Alana Annis converted nine kicks through the uprights for a personal tally of 28 points.
The Cinderford U13’s on the adjacent pitch were not so lucky, losing to their host’s, but putting in some great committed tackles and running support play. Try scorer’s on the day were Ellie Meek and Daisy with two each and Nay Bundy one try Next week sees the girls back in National cup action so good luck girls
