Gloucestershire girls County finished playing this weekend with the U18’s playing in Tavistock Devon. The Cinderford girls played a big part in the final results winning two out of three in the fifteen a side games and one out of three in the sevens. The prolific Elle Jay-Browning topped the score sheet with five try’s and one conversion, Niamh Brennan got four try’s Mackenna Brace two and Caitlin Reese three, Millie Purser grabbed one try.
The under 15’s playing their last County games at Cheltenham tigers only managed a single win in the 15 a side game and lost all three in the sevens games due to injuries to key players, the battled hard and never gave in and a great individual try from Fenn Wightman Smith finished the tournament on a high.
The U13’s were playing Kingswood at home and continued where they left off last week with another great win against a bigger opponent winning 30-25. The points coming through Beth Davies four try’s Francesca Clarke and Taylor Turley getting one each.
Now’s the final push to the end of another successful season well done to all the girls.
