Cinderford rfc under 18s girls star player Elle Jay-Browning led the way with a personal tally of 6 try’s in their game away at st Mary’s Old Boy’s Sunday afternoon in what was a 7 a side encounter over 4 ten minute sessions . Also on the score board were Megan Harris 2, Mackenna Brace,Carli Powell & Mia Boucher-White 1 a piece, Mackenna also kicked 7 conversions resulting in a 69/47 win a great result and team effort by all the girls involved.
At home the under 15s picked a bad day to play Worcester with 8 players pulling out late to leave the squad needing to borroe players to make this a decent encounter this was always going to be a hard game and with so many out ended in a loss for the team but inspirational captain Daisy Turner kept her players going through out and helped in their 4 scores through Niamh Brennan 2 try’s plus Lilly Tippins & a loan player 1 a piece, Niamh also converted 3 Try’s to finish the scoring on a long day for the side but great commitment by those who played.
