Jack Shields scored a ‘hat-trick’ of tries as the Stags overwhelmed Newent. Jake Drinkwater, Nathan Green, Rob Groves, James Pritchard, Mike Jelf and Kieran Stubley also touched down, with Ryan Walding kicking four conversions
United Update
Worthing Raiders ‘A’ 10-14 Cinderford United
Cinderford United won their second ‘Shield’ match this season, with a hard-earned victory at Worthing. Sam Baker scored an unconverted try and Ollie Whiting kicked two penalties as Cinderford led 11-3 at half-time. The home side came more into the match in the second-half, but a third penalty from Whiting gave his team a deserved victory.
