Cinderford Under 7’s and Lydney under 7’s had the privilege to play at half time of the CRFC 1st team game against Stourbridge. The day started with the formation of the tunnel when the 1st team players ran onto the pitch, the flags and balloons set of well against the bright sunny but a little windy day. The game, set out in the middle of the 1st team pitch, ended 5 -3 to Lydney with Ed Haisman, Ben Hannaford and Dylan Menhennet scoring for Cinderford. No one left the main stand at the ground while the game was on following closely with the end of the match warmly celebrated by all at the ground. The kids enjoyed food in the club with their opposition. “Great game and Great Hospitality” was the comment received from the Lydney coach. All in all a great day (and CRFC 1sts won too)
