Training Day this Saturday, 10th August, Cinderford, Beavis Memorial Ground

A message from Deacs.

“Pop in on Saturday morning and catch a glimpse of the new look 2013/14 squad being put through the mill in a training and team bonding session taking place from 9.30am – til 2.30pm (‘ish) at our home ground.

Along side Fouro, Brad, Isiah and Paul, we will be running the annual, all-important ‘boot camp’ event that takes training and preparations for the friendlies to greater detail and depth. It allows for the guys to come together and work out in teams. It’s also a great chance to spot some of the new faces joining us this season and say hello to the ‘old boys’, whilst having a refreshment. Also a chance to sort out your season ticket memberships if you haven’t already done so.

Our first friendly game is a week on Saturday, 17 August. It is away but still local against our noisy neighbours Hartpury RFC, and promises to be a great game of course!
Please join us there and give us your much welcome support from the sidelines.

After that we are away in South Wales against our old friends Llandovery RFC on 24 August, followed by a home mid-week evening special on Wednesday 28 August v Matson 1st XV.

The following weekend Cinderford United travel to play Chippenham RFC while the 1st XV go to Penzance to play St Austell RFC and championship side Cornish Pirates.
At which we point we will be ready to start our new season campaign back on home turf v Rosslyn Park on September 7th.

I look forward to catching up with you all soon.”
