The Stags consolidated their position at the top of the GRFU Reserve League with another excellent display at Thornbury.

Rob Groves opened the scoring for the visitors from a well-executed lineout catch and drive. The hooker then added a second try, following a strong run by Blaine Harris, with Ryan Walding landing the conversion.  Mike Jelf and James Pritchard both went over for further tries, as the Stags continued to play some terrific rugby to make it 22-0 at the interval.  The home side made changes to their team and were much more competitive in the second-half. However the young Cinderford side showed plenty of resolve in defence and they made sure of their victory when Jelf intercepted and raced clear to score, with Walding adding the conversion.
