Cinderford travelled to Stroud and started brightly enough with some great forward play taking them up the pitch and camped inside the opposition 22 but unfortunately just couldn’t find their way over the line. Stroud then capitalised on some fumbles and broke away for two quick trys.  Cinderford came straight back and scored a fine try out wide with great hands (considering the conditions) Jack Robinson touching down. Adam Evans with a try saving tackle on the 22 the highlight for the remainder of an attritional first half.

Half time Stroud 12-5 Cinderford

Second half with the wind at their backs Cinderford started the stronger with Nick Kiss crashing over from close range to narrow the gap to two points.

Man of the match Kyle Harris for his ferocious tackling, he certainly punches above his size and weight. Close second was Adam Evans for what coach called “tackle of the season”
