Rugby Paper, Nick Verdier’s team of the week

1. Hugo Millford-Scott (Henley) – The Hawks led the way all season but it’s now official they will return to National League One after their win at Dings Crusaders in which Millford-Scott scored the second try.
2. Tom Cobb (Old Elthamians) – The hooker was on hand for the Kent side’s first try against Cambridge but it was his performance at the set piece and in the loose that earned him the man of the match.
3. Mark Tampin (Rotherham) – A devastating tighthead is what Titans’ fans dream off so they must have been delighted with Tampin’s display in the derby against Doncaster. Roth were awarded two penalty tries and each time Tampin was in thick of things.
4. Andrew Boyde (Harrogate) – Harrogate can still finish third in NL2N after their win at Leicester Lions where Boyde went over on the hour to put the game to bed.
5. Austin Thompson (Huddersfield) – His try from a driving maul might not have looked like much but it turned out to be the match winner against Preston Grasshoppers.
6. Joe Buckle (Jersey) – The Islanders flanker was everywhere against the Pirates and his man of the match performance was rewarded by a try too.
7. Ollie Robinson (Bristol) – Four tries in the win over Plymouth Albion and Bristol remain at the top of the table with two games to go in the Championship.
8. Hugo Ellis (Rosslyn Park) – Park’s pack was at its best against Tynedale and captain Ellis helped himself to two more tries taking his season tally to 22.
9. Tom Whiteley (Bishop’s Stortford) – The Saracens youngster can’t stop scoring in NL2S and he proved far too hot to handle for Lydney last weekend with another hat-trick.
10. Jake Sharp (Bedford) – The Blues assured their Championship status with a win over Moseley where Sharp ran the show from fly-half as well as crossing the line twice.
11. Oli Brennand (Fylde) – He is already the most-prolific try scorer in Fylde’s history but Brennand added three more tries to his record in the win over Coventry.
12. Darrel Dyer (Ampthill) – Ampthill are doing all they can to win the NL2N league rather than go through the promotion play-offs which they lost last season. A bonus-point win at Otley with Dyer getting a hat-trick of tries.
13. Steph Reynolds (Hartpury College) – The Old Albanians defence could just not cope with the Hartpury flyer. He was unstoppable and got himself over the line three times.
14. Stef Hawley/Leo Fielding (Cinderford) – The Cinderford wing pair both grabbed a brace against Richmond for a bonus-point which saw them overtake OAs and get out of the relegation zone with two games left to play.
15. Andy Murray (Broadstreet) – Another hat-trick in this week’s back line and this one comes from the 2013 Wimbledon champion himself (or his namesake).
