Cinderford Revved Up for Richmond.
Saturday 6 December (KO National 1)

Entering a period of stability following recent changes at Cinderford, the Foresters are determined to deliver a full 80 minutes of solid rugby this Saturday, in the same manner that saw them hold off Fylde last week for 50 minutes at 7-6.

Richmond is a traditional powerhouse of a rugby club and sit in 6th position in the league. Nic Corrigan is optimistic for the weekend’s fixture and has felt a change in energy and focus among the players, which bodes well for securing points and climbing the table in the remaining five months with many more games of rugby to play. “We were very frustrated leaving Fylde with zero points having held our own through 50 minutes. We need to control what we can control at Richmond and produce the energy and endeavour to compete for those points. National 1 survival and stability is at the heart of all we are doing right now,” said Corrigan.

A few changes to the team see Alex Frame start on the wing, Charlie Norman is injured. Lloyd Evans starts at ten in rotation with Mark Davies who moves to the bench. Hookers Wilkes and Cole are also on rotation with Sam starting. Jake Caulfield starts as tight head with Elliot Booley moving to the bench.

Other #teamcindy news sees Cinderford United welcome Richmond Vikings to the Beavis Memorial Ground at 2.30pm. Stags also play Lydney 2nds at 2.30pm at home while Bucks travel away to Widden OB again at 2.30pm.
