Lukas Slowik joins Cinderford RFC on a dual registered basis from Bristol Rugby.

Nic Corrigan said “I am delighted to welcome Lukas to Cinderford RFC, our relationship with his parent Club continues to improve and our role in supporting academy players in their development is a priority focus for us over this season. He will gain vital time with us on the pitch but our focus is one for both United and 1XV to cement their league positions this season in a ruthlessly focused manner around results. Lukas joining us should be a clear statement that around the Club, including coaches, we want internal competition and a culture of constant self improvement.”

The Bristol Centre, a product of the SGS Filton centre, has earned international honours with England U18s.

Slowik became the youngest player in the professional era to start a competitive game for the Bristol when, at 17 years and 268 days, he lined up against Gala in the B&I Cup. He will add additional strength to the already competitive backline and challenge a number of impressive performances in preseason games to date.
