Continuing our reach to help charities local to our rugby club, volunteer fundraisers from the charity ‘Winston’s Wish’ will be at ground this Saturday with buckets to scoop up any spare change and donations from our members, fans, and visitors to support this worthwhile cause.

Winston’s Wish is the leading childhood bereavement charity in the UK, and was started right here in Gloucestershire. Every 22 minutes a child in Britain is bereaved of a parent; this equates to 24,000 newly bereaved children each and every year. Winston’s Wish provides the support that these children need to make sense of death and rebuild their lives. The charity provides professional therapeutic help to bereaved children and their families in individual, group, and residential settings, via its national helpline, interactive website and publications.

Volunteers from the Winston’s Wish Young Ambassador group with be at the match raising funds for the charity, and will be happy to speak to match-goers about the charity’s work.

Thank you in advance for your support for this worthy cause.
