Christmas celebrations started early for the Cinderford RFC girls section with an outstanding performance from all three teams.

Bridgewater & Albion U18s Girls 7 Cinderford U18s Girls 97

Heading the proceedings with a group win in the South West National Cup and winning in style in horrible conditions and what could have passed as a paddy field!
Their handling in these conditions was second to none resulting in a very impressive win.
Leading points scorer on the day was fly half Niamh Brennan with three try’s and eight conversions ,Haidee Field also scoring a hat trick, other points were scored through captain Carli Powell. Elle-Jay Browning. Ruby Purser. Millie Purser with two try’s each Cary’s Lowley and Jess Boddy with one try each finishing the score another with abs impressive performance by Daisy Turner the petite Dynamo!!

Meanwhile in another cold and wet encounter the under 15s impressed with a good win at Avonmouth.
Another great performance from fly half Chloe Ervig resulting in two try’s and two conversions .
Chloe Palmer’s hard running resulted in a couple of try’s for her followed by by Amelia Clarke with captain Ellie Murrell finishing with one a piece.

Avonmouth U13s Girls 10 Cinderford U13s Girls 90

Completing a fantastic Sunday the Under 13’s were also at Avonmouth and they too found form with an emphatic win.
The Bristol side were swept away, Alisha led the scoring with an impressive double hat trick ( that’s SIX try’s) followed by Maddie with four , Taylor with three , Izzy with two ,also Amy, Emily,and captain Francesca Clarke with one try each . Lexi Bishop was unable to score but her efforts and offloading helped with her team’s success.
A great end to this year well played three age groups, you are all progressing fantastically, here’s to a great 2019
