Cinderford welcomed Henley to Dockham road on there tour of Gloucestershire. Henley came with a impressive team which included 6 South East England players and well over half the team county players and most in the London Wasps u13s Squad Cinderford can boost on having 2 South West England players.
The game started with Henley pinning Cinderford in there own 22area for a long period of time building phases. In the end the defence was broken when the very impressive ball carrying 2nd row of Henley scored the first try of the game .
From kick off and Henley once again spent a period of time in the Cinderford 22area which resulted in the Henley outside half breaking 3 tackles to go in under the post. Soon after Right wing Freddie Knight was given a yellow card for a dangerous tackle from which Henley kicked to the corner and drove over from a driving maul.
Into the second half after some stern words from the Cinderford coaches the boys responded in the best possible way scorning two tries from Zac Littlefair and Aidan Magee. For twenty minutes Cinderford really took the game to Henley with some great off loads out of the tackles from Will Salter , Harry Taylor and Josh Warren which gave Cinderford some front foot ball allowing Zac Littlefair to realise the outside backs of Matthew Jones , Freddie Knight and Henry Godwin to run at the Henley defence. But Henley soon got back into there stride with the Henley 2nd row making big holes in the Cinderford defence which from quick ball allowed Henley to add a few more tries . Final score 30-10 against a very strong opposition .
