Cinderford Bucks comfortably retained the Forest of Dean Combination Minor Cup for a third successive season with a six try victory over Drybrook Extras.

Ryan Walding opened the scoring with a long range penalty, before Chris Morse scored an unconverted try. Just before half-time Tom Reynolds showed good pace to race clear to score a try, which Walding converted to make it 15-0 at the interval.  Reynolds went over for his second try early soon after the re-start, with Walding landing the conversion and then kicking a penalty.

Man of the match Nathan Green then outpaced the cover defence scored his first try again bettered by Walding, before Drybrook gained some respite when they were awarded a penalty try. Adam Gouha was next to score for the Bucks, following a strong run from Adam Wilce and Green went over for his second just before the final whistle, with Walding adding both conversions.
