Chinnor gave Cinderford a lesson in how to take scoring opportunities as they completed a bonus point victory to stay on top of National Two South.

The home side had the advantage in both territory and possession, but the visitors were clinical whenever they got created an opening in their opponents defence.  The first quarter of the match was scoreless, before visiting No8 Tom Burns started and finished a surge to the line to score a try, which Sam Angell converted.  A lineout catch and drive saw Chinnor increase their advantage after 32 minutes of play, with hooker Jamie Townsend getting the touchdown, which Angell again converted. James Moffat landed a penalty for Cinderford to open their account soon afterwards, and that proved to be the final score of the first-half.

He was on target with a second kick at goal early in the second-half, but then a promising attack by the home side broke down enabling Chinnor to kick ahead and replacement Jon Hopkin followed up to win a chase to score a try, which he also converted.  Moffat landed his third penalty after 56 minutes, but any hopes of a Cinderford revival were ended when Hopkin spotted a gap in the home defence to race clear through for the bonus point try and his second to wrap up the victory.
