Welsh Premiership side Bridgend eventually proved too strong for Cinderford as they came out on top in this pre-season encounter scoring four unanswered second-half tries.

Cinderford failed to make the most of an encouraging performance in the first-half, after making the perfect start to the match with Rhys Luckwell crossing for an unconverted try in the first minute following some excellent play from Alex Frame and Jack Adams.
Several more try scoring opportunities were created by the home side before the interval, but they were unable to make them count and the only other score came from a penalty kicked by the visitors outside-half James Dixon.

Bridgend were much improved after the break and their bigger forwards were beginning to get the upper hand. Two tries in as many minutes soon swung the game in the Welsh sides’ favour, with Matt Phillips and Steve Williams going over. The home side were now struggling to gain any territorial advantage and Bridgend were able to wrap the game up with a brace of tries from powerful centre Adam Williams, with Owen Howe landing one of the conversions.
