Cinderford edged out Fylde to gain a much needed bonus victory, in an enthralling match that saw nine tries scored.

Fylde were quickly onto the attack and Chris Johnson put the first points on the scoreboard with a penalty. The home side soon responded when centre Sam Hanks raced clear through under the posts for a try which Mike Wilcox converted.  Cinderford had two yellow cards awarded against them and the visitors came well into the match with experienced second-row, Paul Arnold grabbing two tries and Johnson kicking one conversion to make it 7-15 after 37 minutes.  Home centre Jack Adams dummied his way over for an unconverted try which brought the half-time whistle.

Once again the visitors were quickly out of the blocks at the start of the second-half with Warren Spragg sprinting over in the corner, Johnson converting.  Cinderford responded when the referee awarded them penalty try which Mark Davies converted.  Play swung from end to end and Ryan De La Harpe scored a converted try for the visitors before Nev Codlin touched down, with Davies adding the extras.

With the visitors also receiving a second yellow card the momentum of the match began to swing towards the home side and they went ahead when Adams crossed for his second try with Davies landing the conversion.  Davies then landed two penalties to put the home team ten points clear, before Johnson replied with a penalty to earn Fylde an extra bonus point.
