Cinderford gave their National One survival hopes a boost with a much needed bonus point victory over Fylde.

With a strong breeze at their backs, the home side the scoring in the second minute when Fylde knocked on and a long pass from Callum Sheedy enabled Leo Fielding to race clear and score an unconverted try.  More good approach play from the Cinderford forwards, then created the opportunity for second-row Ed King to go over, but the conversion was again missed.

Fylde came back into the game and from a lineout catch and drive prop Tom Lavelle touched down, with Chris Johnson converting.
Play was evenly contested for the remainder of the half, but the home side nudged further ahead when Sheedy landed a penalty five minutes before the interval.

Fylde began the second-half strongly and they took the lead when winger Jordan Dorrington just managed to get the ball down after a kick ahead and chase, with Johnson converting.  After this however Cinderford began to take control of the match and scored 24 unanswered points to wrap their victory.

Centre Jack Adams went over after another strong surge to the line by his forwards, then Fielding crossed for the bonus point try, which Sheedy converted.  Next to score was hooker Luke Cole, following a lineout catch and drive and scrum-half Clive Stuart-Smith scored the final try, as he dummied over from close range with replacement Lloyd Evans adding the conversion.
