Esher picked up a bonus point victory at Cinderford in a highly entertaining twelve try thriller, a defeat that pushes the home side back into the National One relegation zone.

Mike Wilcox kicked an early penalty for Cinderford before prop Will Davis went over to make it 8-0 after ten minutes of play.  Esher responded with tries from David Millard and Patrick O’Grady, both of which were converted by Luke Daniels. Jack Adams replied with an unconverted try, but Esher finished the first-half strongly with Mickey Wilson and Michael Macfarlane, Daniels landed one conversion to make 13-26 at the interval.

Millard scored his second try for Esher soon after the re-start, but Andy Bulumakau responded almost immediately for the home side.
Daniels then took centre stage scoring two tries, along with a conversion and a penalty to keep Esher ahead. Cinderford responded with a second try from Davis, to pick up a try scoring bonus point and another from hooker Tom Bozzard, both of which were converted by Wilcox, but it wasn’t enough.
