Playing the second of their pre-season matches Cinderford were given a tough workout by a very good
Old Centralians side.

The match was played over four sessions and it was the Gloucester team who opened the scoring with a well taken try, which was converted.  Cinderford levelled at 7-7 when they were awarded a penalty try, which Danny Trigg converted.  The visitors continued to impress though and soon regained the lead with another converted try.  A lineout catch and drive then saw the home forwards go over for a try which went unconverted.

In the final session Cinderford went ahead when Ben Sparks touched down, then Alex Frame broke clear to score a try, both of were converted by Trigg.  Old Centralians scored third try in the closing minutes, but the home side had just done enough.
